It has been very difficult starting this publication and at times very lonely but your words give me strength to continue on this mission. I know that we as single moms wake up every day with an amazing responsibility and pressure to accomplish, at times, more than is humanly possible. I think that we are cared for by a higher power, energy or spirit that enables us to be SUPER WOMEN! I hope that all of you and myself realize that we have each other.... we understand each other and the words don't even need to be spoken... we understand each other. I am working on an additional website for helping single moms, myself included, I hope each of you can get on the site.... watch it grow in the next few months. I am so hapy to see someone reaching out to single mothers. I am 29 years old and have a 12 year old daughter, you can imagine how difficult life in general has been. Up until four years ago I had worked and gone to school full-time, struggling through just to get an associates degree. I have recently decided to further my education but without the full-time employment this time, I will be relocating to Weber in the fall and am very excited and scared at the same time. Your website has helped inspire me and realize that anything is possible. There are people everywhere willing to help if you just look in the right places. Thanks

Dear Dotti. It was amazing how I was introduced to Synergy. I am a single mom of two beautiful children. I have always felt a urge that I needed to do something to empower single moms. I also wanted support and resources. One of my co-workers had your Dec. issue and thought of me. She gave it to me and I have since read through it (and continue to read when I need a nudge) gaining courage and a sense of unity to continue on towards a better life. You don't know what an amazing thing you have started. I am grateful. Thank you so much and I am anxious to see what is next and want to be a part of this new gathering of such wonderful women!

Dear Dotti;
I am so excited about your magazine and only wish you had been around 20 years ago when after 30 years of marriage my husband walked out on his family. For my children's sake I plowed ahead and did my crying in the bathroom in the shower.
Decided every family needs a hero so I stepped up. Took some classes, got a job, a morgage, got the girls through college, married and have traveled around the world a couple of times. Life is good! I am anxious to talk to others out there, hey ladies
